Eligibility and Dues

Who is eligible for ASCP membership?

If you are a physician in any specialty (M.D. or D.O.), or are a doctoral-level researcher in psychopharmacology or pharmacology, you are eligible to be a Full Member of ASCP. If you are a clinician (non-M.D. or Ph.D.) researcher in the field, you qualify for Associate Membership. Associate members are not eligible for office, committee participation or to vote.

What are the dues and other fees?

For full membership, the dues are only $100 per year. For associate members, the dues are $85 per year. Both Full and Associate Members receive discounts on all ASCP meetings and products, including the NCDEU meeting.  Dues are waived for Residents and Fellows. ("Fellows" refers to a training fellowship in any medical specialty or to a post-doctoral fellowship in psychopharmacology research.)
